Shilpa Jadwani

Shilpa Jadwani is an Immigration Attorney by profession and a performer/choreographer by heart. Shilpa has been professionally dancing and teaching since the age of 15, working with several studios and choreographers. To Shilpa, dance and music are like breathing!

Shilpa moved to Atlanta in 2009 from New Jersey and immediately joined the Prem Dance Studio and Silent Killers family. She has been the Lead Female Assistant to Prem Rahman (Director and Lead Choreographer) since then. For the past several years.

Shilpa has choreographed for contestants of the Miss and Teen Miss India-Georgia Pageants. Some of Shilpa's students have gone on to become wildly famous actors, comedians, to own their own Studios, do World Tours, win countless famous competitions, and even organize national and collegiate level dancing competitions.

Shilpa has worked on Bollywood movies, music videos, national tours, conferences, and much more! Amit Pawar

Amit an IT Professional who does everything on beats. Born and brought up in Mumbai, Bollywood runs in his veins. With family of all dancers, he started dancing at early age of six. But it was in 1996, the meet and greet opportunity with the legend MJ changed definition of dance and music for him. Amit has been performing professional since he was 13 working with various dance teams in Mumbai-Pune -Bangalore dance circuit and choreographing since age of 20. He carries wide range of expertise with modern dance forms and tons of creativity.

According to Amit "Dance is an expression and Dancing is a moment. No moment can be recreated so live the moment and dance to the fullest". His expertise in reflecting emotions, messages and presence with his unique dance moves is something worth watching and learning.

He likes to merge east with the west and believes to train with brains and perform with heart. Amit moved to Atlanta in 2011 and has been part of various events and dance teams to choreograph, conceptualize and present dance performances at countless events. Akansha Gupta

Akansha Gupta is the director and owner of Akansha's Dance Studio LLC. Dancing runs in the family, her mother was an accomplished Bharatanatyam dancer. Akansha along with her 2 sisters, were trained in Kathak from Prayag Sangeet Samiti, Allahabad.
She now teaches Bollywood and semi classical style of dancing to both kids and adults. She has been giving various stage performances from the age of 5.

In the Atlanta area, she has taught dances for various community events, weddings and school functions. With the support of family and friends she launched Akansha's Dance Studio LLC in 2017. Since then her students have performed at various events all over Atlanta.

She is both a performer and choreographer, and her style of teaching dance makes it easy and fun, even for the novice dancers. She is praised for her great style of dancing combined with her beautiful facial expressions and energy. Few years back she was chosen as one of the choreographers for "Show me your Jalwa", which was held in Atlanta and judged by Vidya Balan and Mona Singh.

Akansha likes to give back to the society and has performed for events that lead to fund raising. This is her second-year association with Vibha organization, Atlanta. She is very proud and excited to be Choreographer again for Vibha's Vibe 2019.

Sridev Ranjit

Sridevi Ranjit is an acclaimed dancer, choreographer and teacher of Indian Classical dance forms of Bharatanatyam, Mohiniyattom, Kuchipudi & Semi Classical. Sridevi has been awarded the stature of "Kalathilakam" (the best artistic talent) during her school years and has also competed and won in various district and state level competitions, gaining her the scholarship for Kerala Sangeetha Nataka Academy, the Inter University South Zone Youth Festival and Mathrubhoomi Kalotsav.

The highlight of her dance career was when she won the National award for Mohiniyattom from the Association of Indian Universities. She has won second prize in Dance Fever 2017 competition in classical category judged by Ms. Geeta Kapoor.

She has conducted and performed in various society and cultural events across Middle East, Germany, Belgium and USA.

She has also choreographed multiple folks, cinematic and Indian ballet items for her students in cultural events all over Europe and Atlanta. Sridevi is the Artistic Director of Laasya School of Dance in Atlanta and has been training young kids in the art of Bharathanatyam and imparting not only the skill and motivation for being a dancer and also inculcating in them the joy of performing

Brittny Chandra

Chandra Dance Academy's mission is to endow education and tradition of the ancient art of Kathak through a fresh, and youthful perspective. While keeping consistent with the ancient style, we add a modern athleticism and flair.

Our focus is to perfect the Nritta, Nritya, and Natya aspects of Kathak through dedicated training. We offer Kathak and Bollywood for all ages! Founder and Director, Brittny Chandra, hails from Pandit Kundan Lal ji's Jaipur Gharana. Pali Chandra is her Guru. Pali Chandra was raised under the tutelage of maestros Guru Vikram Singh, Pandit Ram Mohan Maharaj and Mrs. Kapila Raj.

Brittny has also learned from Pandita Guru Maneesha Sathe ji, who is a disciple of Pandit Natraj Gopi Krishna ji. Brittny has obtained her Visharad Purna from Bharati Vidyapeeth (Pune, India) with Distinction. She is also a graduate of Auburn University with her Bachelors in Psychology, Masters in Education, and she is a member of the National Association of Schools of Dance. Brittny has been dancing since she was five in various forms of dance such as hip hop, ballet, tap, and jazz.

Monika Arora

For Monika, telling her she can't dance is like telling her she can't breathe. There is no wrong time or place to dance. She is always full out dancing in the car or anywhere there is music. She is a scientist by trade but her passion for dance started when she was 5. Since then, she has watched, learned, and practiced many different forms of dance and continues to push herself to learn and explore more. Monika has been choreographing, performing and teaching dance since she was 15.

Monika moved to Atlanta in 2016 from Chicago where she was well known for her choreography. Her performances have been recognized with awards and certificates and newspaper publications. She was missing the opportunities to dance and teach so she started Love Bollywood Dance Studio to fulfill the 3 things that make her happy. "Love" can mean so many things and this is her way of of showing just what "love" can mean! Love Bollywood is Monika's space created for a fun, positive, encouraging environment that keeps the culture and traditions alive while finding new, creative ways to put more love into the world!

Mital Patel

Mital Patel is the owner and creative director of Kalaxya Dance Academy. Her training in dance began at the age of 7. She has earned Visharad in Kathak from Bharati Vidyapeeth University(equivalent to Bachelor's degree) with Distinction and have trained in many different styles of dance including Bharatanatyam, Folk dances and Bollywood. Dancing is her life and Kathak is her heart.She has extended her passion for dance by teaching Kathak and Bollywood at Kalaxya Dance Academy. Her extensive experience in teaching, choreographing, and performing comes from over a decade of refinement at India, New Zealand, and United States and is complimented by her career as a software engineer.

Maria Martynova

Maria Martynova took first place in National Bollywood Competition Dance USA Dance with Master Saroj Khan. Maria was born is Russia, Moscow and graduated from History Of Asia and Africa faculty under Lomonosov Moscow State University. She started to dance at age of 5 and has professional classical dance education from Moscow. They traveled a lot with family and her big passion for Middle East and Asian culture and language also extended on dance form. She is trained in Kathak, Flamenco and she taught herself belly dance and Bollywood dance. Currently Maria is Phd student on philosophy and she writes thesis on Indian philosophy.

One of the most memorable places she visited last time was her pilgrimage tour in India, which changed her spiritual life and made her the most happiest person inside out. She currently teaches dance in Atlanta, performs in Festivals in ISCKON temple, community and private events. Maria says, "dancing is my whole life, I can't imagine myself without dancing!". Maria speaks multiple languages, and one of her favorite languages, she adds, is the language of Dance!

Uma Muralidhar

Uma Murlidhar founded Planet U Performing Arts. Uma is a well-known choreographer who is trained in Indian classical dance as well in Bollywood style that incorporates various dance forms including Hip-hop, Jazz, Latin, Filmi fusion, Indian classical, Indian folk, and Bhangra. Uma has toured to Singapore, India & USA and given successful performances. Uma provides strong instructional leadership and a climate conducive to learning. She believes that anyone can dance with the right guidance if they come with an open mind and lots of energy. She sets very high expectations for her students and provides a positive, fun, and friendly environment that emphasizes on building a strong foundation and confidence in all her students and exposes them to different dance styles. Planet U Performing Arts has showcased the talents of its students in annual recitals and has traditionally donated the net proceeds of the event to a charitable cause. Their school's philosophy is to instill the habit of giving in their students along with having fun dancing and performing.The school performs year-round at corporate events, wedding receptions, fundraisers, social/cultural events and festivals. Planet U caters to all ages and provides group and private lessons to everyone-boys, girls, women and men.

Crystal Ahlberg

Crystal has performed both nationally and internationally for many years. Her professional experience includes work with Enrique Iglesias, Shop Boyz, Automotion, Shockwave, cruise ships, and several local artists. She has also performed in national television productions with America's Best Dance Crew, the Junior Olympics, Paula Abdul and Ben Vereen. In 2013 - 2014 she was invited to teach with "Broadway Break Thru 's" Triple Threat convention, and has choreographed and taught for "National Dance Alliance" as well as touring with their "Unleashed" conventions.

She has also choreographed multiple dance routines for Davenport University, Oakland University and Sienna Heights University. In the competitive world she has also judged and taught master classes for multiple dance competitions including directing one of her own called "Raw Energy dance Competition." In addition, she has done promotional work with hotel/casinos MGM Grand, Ceaser's and Motor City. Crystal also has been a part of Dance Spirit, Strut and Six Degree's magazines.

Most recently, Crystal has begun to make her mark among the elite with her fast-paced and innovative choreography. Over the last 10 years, vast studio demand for her services has led her to host dance intensives at many different studios across the country. The students that attend the workshops are easily influenced by Crystal's passion for dance and enjoys her magnetic personality and amazing creativity. In addition to her own work, she is affiliated with many professional dance organizations that make her the person to go to if you crave dance!

Originating from Detroit Michigan, Crystal and her family made a bold move and headed South to Atlanta, GA where she continues to teach and choreograph both locally and nationally.
